Coffee is staying present.
Sitting in this cosy café, I am lifted by the aroma of coffee being brewed before me. Is it a Blue Mountain, a Mandheling or beans from Costa Rica? I cannot tell.
But I know I like the feeling of being enveloped by this fragrance, this comforting coffee essence.
The barista is now slowly serving me the cup of Mandheling I had ordered earlier. I take a sip. Bitter, sour, a tinge of sweet. The different flavours trip over one another on my tongue; they transform.
I close my eyes. I take in this moment, this tranquil minute.
午後。咖啡:
小巧的店裡﹐瀰漫著咖啡香。
雖然我無法分辨那是藍山﹐曼特寧還是哥斯達黎加。
但﹐我喜歡這種被咖啡香氛圍繞的感覺。
跟店長點了一杯曼特寧。
啜了一口﹔
苦澀﹐微酸﹐回甘﹐
各種味道在舌尖跳躍﹑變換。
閉上眼睛﹐享受此刻的寧靜。
